Gymshark
Everything observed about gymshark.com: 3 ad teardowns. Each is captured first-hand and dated; nothing here is taken from a third party.
Ad teardowns
3 ads paired with the page they clicked to, and rated, in The Handoff.
Three teardowns, and the account is running three levels of intent through one visual system. The price cards are the workhorse, a split card template applied across the range that lets an entry price rather than a product do the arguing, and a shopper who clicks starting from $22 lands on the bestsellers grid, 293 products, with no price in the first fold. The seamless launch borrows sneaker drop machinery for a basics restock, timed to the minute, and the date printed on the image does not match the date in the body copy underneath it. The third is the expensive one: a third of the captured set carries no headline, no price and no call to action, just gym photography and the wordmark twice, and nine of those buttonless cuts point at the homepage with no path onward at all.
THE ARRIVAL TEEThe ad panel reads "THE ARRIVAL TEE" over "Starting from $22" with a cream-backdrop packshot of the black tee, so the promise is one named garment at one entry price.2026-08-19Break
DROP 20TH AUGUST, 7PM BSTThe ad's frosted panel reads "Everyday Seamless" over "SOFT, SECOND-SKIN GYM SETS" and "DROP 20TH AUGUST, 7PM BST", shot as a studio teaser of a pink zip-through set.2026-08-19Break
GYMSHARKThe ad is a rear view of a man in a navy GYMSHARK-printed tank and grey shorts at a barbell in a brick-walled gym, with the wordmark set large across the lower third and no headline, no price and no call to...2026-08-19Continuous
Continuous: the click arrives intact. Partial: it arrives, but the reader has to do work the ad did not warn them about. Break: it does not arrive.
