Ad teardowns
2 ads paired with the page they clicked to, and rated, in The Handoff.
Two teardowns from an account better known for volume than for restraint, and the quieter one is the more interesting. The colorway drop is the house style: the joke is the product name, The Tight Lotus, floated over a travel photograph and pointed straight at a single product page at $78, where the colour and the breadcrumb both resolve. The spec sheet is the outlier, an annotated diagram that finally states what the garment is, golf waistband, gym stretch, swim liner, and it ships with the brand's own typo in the copy. It also breaks on identity: the ad sells a slate blue 3-in-1 short and the page opens as a differently named product in a different colour, so the clearest explanation in the account lands on a mismatch.
The Tight LotusThe ad reads NEW COLOR / The Tight Lotus / 3 IN 1 KHAKI SHORTS over a pair of cream shorts with a navy floral waistband.2026-08-19Continuous
THE 3-IN-1 SHORTThe ad is an annotated spec sheet, THE 3-IN-1 SHORT with GOLF Elastic Waistband + Belt Loops, GYM 4-Way Stretch and SWIM Quick-Dry Liner pointing at a slate blue short with an orange liner.2026-08-19Partial
Continuous: the click arrives intact. Partial: it arrives, but the reader has to do work the ad did not warn them about. Break: it does not arrive.

How this is kept
