Where it sits in the set

Every figure below is counted from the 152 popups captured in the same pass, not from a benchmark report.

  • The field is on the first pane, no gate. 76 of 152 popups (50%) still do that.
  • Rendered by Klaviyo, the second most common, accounting for 55 of the 152 popups.
  • It waits 6.7 seconds. The median timed popup in the set fires at 7.3s, so this one is faster than the middle, and 48 of 114 timed popups appear sooner.
  • On desktop the card covers 30% of the viewport, larger than 44% of the desktop captures.
  • The first field asks for email, as 104 of the 108 popups where a field was visible do.

This brand in The Handoff

Hiya also has an ad and landing page teardown in The Handoff, which is where this brand list came from. The handoff there is rated {'rating': 'Partial', 'note': 'The ad closes on "50% off and a free Kids Mineral Sunscreen with code SUMMERSUN" and the page pays out only half of that: $17.50 with $35 struck through and a red "50% OFF FIRST ORDER" chip, while SUMMERSUN and the sunscreen appear nowhere, replaced by a yellow site bar reading "FREE gift when you spend $30+" that a one-kid order at $17.50 does not reach as of the 2026-08-20 capture. Product and audience hold, since the page leads "Kids Bedtime Essentials" over "A non-habit forming nightly chewable to help kids relax before bed". The NO MELATONIN roundel and "No melatonin or added sugar" sit above the fold, which is more melatonin handling than the ad does, because the ad never says the word and sells "an earlier couch rot time for mom" instead. The register cools too, from the ad\'s teasing "Your couch missed you." to supplement-buyer trust marks about a 30-Day Supply, a refillable glass bottle and a sticker pack.'}. Read the Hiya teardown.

How this was captured

Headless Chromium, US egress, fresh session, first visit. The page was loaded, scrolled, and on desktop given an exit-intent pass, with up to 32 seconds allowed for a timed popup. Nothing was typed into any form. Where a popup hid its field behind a yes/no or a quiz, a single click was allowed to reveal the next pane and no further, so "first field" means the first field a visitor actually sees. The same capture re-runs the week of Black Friday and this page gains a second column.

Want your own popup, flows and offer read against this baseline before Q4? That is a week of The Read.
