Ad teardowns
2 ads paired with the page they clicked to, and rated, in The Handoff.
Two teardowns of an account that has largely replaced scripted UGC with unscripted delivery, and both show the same gap. The top-of-account unit by impressions is a creator loading a brush from an open pot, captioned so that the objection is the hook, and it lands on a homepage leading with an unrelated mascara launch, so the strongest creative in the account hands its reader to a different product. The liner unit is more specific and more instructive: a hooded eye application demo that lands correctly on the gel liner page in Navy at $32, where neither the copy nor any of the four FAQs mentions eye shape at all. The promise the click was bought on is the one thing the destination does not address.

Unscripted creator, hook text overlay only. The ad is a close-up of a creator loading a brush from an open pot of cream complexion product, captioned "Your Skin doesn't suck, you just need to change your makeup." The homepage leads with a mascara...2026-08-05Partial
Continuous: the click arrives intact. Partial: it arrives, but the reader has to do work the ad did not warn them about. Break: it does not arrive.

How this is kept
