Where it sits in the set

Every figure below is counted from the 152 popups captured in the same pass, not from a benchmark report.

  • The offer is 10% off. The median percent offer in the set is 15% and the mode is 15%, so this sits above 1% of the 84 percent offers captured. 19 brands in the set landed on the same number.
  • The field is on the first pane, no gate. 76 of 152 popups (50%) still do that.
  • Rendered by Klaviyo, the second most common, accounting for 55 of the 152 popups.
  • It waits 5.5 seconds. The median timed popup in the set fires at 7.3s, so this one is faster than the middle, and 28 of 114 timed popups appear sooner.
  • On desktop the card covers 49% of the viewport, larger than 72% of the desktop captures.
  • The first field asks for email, as 104 of the 108 popups where a field was visible do.

This brand in The Handoff

Beast also has an ad and landing page teardown in The Handoff, which is where this brand list came from. The handoff there is rated {'rating': 'Partial', 'note': 'The ad frame shows a cream vessel being inverted onto a cream base on a marble counter. The page is the right product, Beast Mighty 850 Stainless Steel at $159, and the stainless steel line the ad copy promises does resolve in a Stainless steel, where it matters block partway down. Two things weaken the arrival. The page opens on a sage colourway named Mist rather than the cream unit the ad just spent its whole frame on, and an empty cart drawer plus a cookie consent bar sit over the title, the price and the add to cart button on load.'}. Read the Beast teardown.

How this was captured

Headless Chromium, US egress, fresh session, first visit. The page was loaded, scrolled, and on desktop given an exit-intent pass, with up to 32 seconds allowed for a timed popup. Nothing was typed into any form. Where a popup hid its field behind a yes/no or a quiz, a single click was allowed to reveal the next pane and no further, so "first field" means the first field a visitor actually sees. The same capture re-runs the week of Black Friday and this page gains a second column.
