A brand that lives in checkout lanes uses the one thing a checkout lane cannot stock, the full twelve-flavor range, as the reason to buy online instead.

“HOME OF EVERY FLAVOR.”

Handoff: Continuous

The ad lines twelve sticks up under "HOME OF EVERY FLAVOR." with a 20% OFF starburst, and the page opens on range: "START SNACKING!", a filter rail reading Best Sellers, Variety Packs, Beef, Turkey, Venison, Chomplings, and a four-across grid of multipacks that keeps going. The discount matches at "A DELICIOUS DEAL FOR YOU: 20% OFF + FREE SHIPPING", captured 2026-08-20, with a yellow SHOP MEAT STICKS button directly under it. The only slack is arithmetic: the ad shows twelve flavours and the page sorts into six groups, so the count is implied by the grid rather than stated.

The read

Live from 14 August 2026. A white frame, a red block headline reading HOME OF EVERY FLAVOR., a red starburst printed 20% OFF, and eleven stick packs standing shoulder to shoulder in a rainbow row underneath. Body copy asks Think you've tried every flavor? Think again, then offers fan favorites, harder-to-find flavors, and 20% off your first order online. Its sibling turns the same argument into a menu: SHOP THE FULL LINEUP ONLINE above twelve labelled rows, Pepperoni Turkey through Smoky BBQ Beef. The rest of the flight approaches the same point from the other end, one flavor at a time. CHOMPS CHICKEN HAS LANDED and the hot pink SPICY panel introduce the chicken line, CHILI LIME BEEF: SPICY. LIMEY. YUMMY. carries its own 20% off badge and its own landing page, and GRASS-FED & FINISHED BEEF argues ingredient quality with a steak on a carving fork. The two listicles sit in the middle and close the loop, 4 REASONS TO TRY OUR BEEF TRIAL PACK and 3 REASONS TO TRY OUR CHICKEN TRIAL PACK, both selling a sampler rather than a SKU. Destinations split three ways: the range and offer ads go to get.chomps.com/fb-try-chomps-20, Chili Lime gets get.chomps.com/chili-lime-20, and the flavor and trial ads go to the chomps.com homepage.

Why it works

  • Distribution is the insight, not the product. Chomps is a retail brand, so most buyers have met it as two or three flavors near a register. Home of every flavor and harder-to-find flavors reframe the website as the only place the whole range exists, which is a reason to shop direct that a discount alone does not give.
  • The trial pack answers the real objection. Twelve flavors is a choice problem, and choice stalls carts. 4 REASONS TO TRY OUR BEEF TRIAL PACK and its chicken twin convert that into one low-stakes decision, and the copy says it plainly: taste test our flavors before you commit.
  • The discount lives on a page the main site never shows. get.chomps.com/fb-try-chomps-20 and get.chomps.com/chili-lime-20 exist so a Facebook click gets 20% off without chomps.com carrying a sitewide sale banner. That protects price perception with retail partners while still buying first orders.

Objective fit

Conversion / Purchase, run at warm and consideration depth rather than cold. The creative assumes the reader already knows what a Chomps stick is and argues about which one and where to buy it, and the offer ad prints a redeemable code, YUMCHOMPS20, quoted here as it appears in the ad copy.

Variants of the same system (11)

One argument, two directions. The range ads open with the whole lineup and narrow to a trial pack; the flavor ads open with a single stick and widen to the range. Held constant: the claims footer, the 20% off badge and the offer pages. What changes is the entry point, single flavor or full assortment, and the destination, which splits between the Facebook-only offer pages and the chomps.com homepage. Observed 2026-08-19.

Where it breaks

Range ads are the easiest thing in the world to brief and the hardest to make convert. A rainbow of eleven packs gives the eye no entry point, so the click depends almost entirely on the discount rather than on desire for any single product, and you end up paying for a coupon click you could have bought with any creative. The other failure mode is the handoff. An ad promising every flavor and a 20% code has to land on a page that shows the full assortment with the code already applied. Drop that traffic on a homepage or a single product page and the shopper has to re-find both the range and the offer, which is where the discount-driven cohort quietly leaks out.

Does your own handoff survive the click?
