The Absorption Company ad teardown: objection handling
A handheld kitchen clip selling needle-free GLP-1 support opens the Weight Management collection behind a 35 percent off email modal.

Handoff: Partial
The destination is the right shelf. The page is headed Weight Management, WLP-1 is the first product tile, and the intro bullets carry the same argument the ad makes, including a claim that the product curbs cravings and boosts GLP-1. What weakens the handoff is what sits on top of it: a Summer Send Off Sale modal offering 35% off sitewide and free shipping covers the headline, the bullets and both lead product tiles the moment the page loads. The ad's promise is on the page, and the visitor cannot read it until they dismiss an email capture.
The read
The creative is a handheld home video with motion blur and no product in frame, which is a deliberate choice for a category where a polished supplement shot reads as an ad. Everything persuasive lives in the caption. That puts the whole burden of proof on the page, and the page does have it: the WLP-1 claims, the Capsoil absorption line and the third-party testing icons are all there, just behind glass.
What the ad does
- The caption carries the argument, the frame carries none. A handheld kitchen clip with motion blur and no product in shot is the right register for needle-free GLP-1 support, where a polished supplement film reads as an ad. Everything persuasive is text, so the page has to restate it.
- The proof row is in the right place. Capsoil enhanced absorption, solvent tested and clinically backed ingredients run as a band directly under the claims, which is where a buyer comparing this against a prescription looks first. Mechanism, not discount, is what wins that comparison.
- A 35% off modal is the first thing the visitor is asked to do. The Summer Send Off Sale panel covers the headline, the bullets and both lead product tiles on load, so the opening action is a dismissal, and the sale it announces already sits in the top bar behind it.
Objective fit
This is a purchase click into a category where the buyer is comparison shopping against prescription options, so the page has to win on mechanism, not on discount.

How this was evidenced
- Evidence
- Pair captured The ad and the page it clicked through to were both captured first-hand, and the destination recorded is the page the ad pointed at.
- Ad creative
- Captured August 2026
- Destination
- https://www.absorbmore.com/collections/weight-management Captured August 2026.
- Ad Library
- No permalink. This creative was observed running in-feed; Meta does not issue a stable public URL for a non-political ad, and purges it from the library once it stops running. The capture above is the record.
What to fix
Suppress the popup for paid entrances so the fold returns to the argument the ad paid for, and point the creative at the WLP-1 product page rather than the Weight Management collection, which removes the sorting step a visitor sold on one named formula currently has to perform.
