Fenty Beauty ad teardown: Fenty fam sale lead form

The only two ads in the account that are not selling a SKU never leave Meta at all: the button says Sign Up and the click opens an in-platform lead form.

“SHOP THE FENTY FAM SALE FIRST / SIGN UP + GET 30% OFF SITEWIDE”

Handoff: Partial

The ad makes two concrete promises, SHOP THE FENTY FAM SALE FIRST and SIGN UP + GET 30% OFF SITEWIDE. The homepage carries neither. There is no Fenty Fam Sale anywhere in the frame, no 30%, no sitewide discount and no sign-up field, and the hero is a wordless product film of a foundation bottle and a brush with no headline, no price and no button. The one promotional line on screen on 2026-08-20 is an unrelated Limited Edition Midnight Diamonds Collection bar. A visitor arriving with a 30% expectation finds nothing to redeem it against. The verdict is capped at Partial because the click's destination is an on-platform Meta lead form that was not captured; the homepage read here is the Ad Library's advertiser link, not the page the click delivers.

The read

Two statics started on 17 August 2026, the newest creative in the capture and the only pair carrying a Sign Up button instead of Shop Now. The anchor is a purple gradient frame with the Fenty Beauty wordmark at the top, then SHOP THE FENTY FAM SALE FIRST in small caps over oversized SIGN UP + GET 30% OFF SITEWIDE type, with a model in a white jacket and gold chains pressing a cushion compact to her cheek while holding two more. The second is the same headline block on dusty rose over a full product spread of serums, a gold quilted pouch and body care. Captions are identical: unlock Fenty Fam Sale Early Access when you sign up for emails and texts, first dibs on 30% off sitewide plus free gifts. The click does not go to fentybeauty.com. It opens a Meta lead form on an fb.me destination, so the entire acquisition happens inside the feed and there is no landing page to review, no page load, no cookie banner and no site navigation. The Ad Library still shows the homepage as the advertiser link, which is the only place the domain appears in the flow.

What the ad does

  • The offer is access, not the product. Nothing on either frame names a SKU. "SHOP THE FENTY FAM SALE FIRST" sells a position in the queue for a sale that has not opened yet, which is the one pitch that justifies asking a stranger for an email address and a phone number.
  • The form replaces the page. The click opens a Meta lead form on an fb.me destination, so there is no page load, no cookie banner and no site navigation, and name and email arrive prefilled from the profile. Fenty trades control of the destination for the shortest path from "SIGN UP + GET 30% OFF SITEWIDE" to being on the list.
  • Two frames, one variable. Same headline block, same caption and the same 17 August start date. One carries a model in a white jacket pressing a cushion compact to her cheek, the other a dusty rose spread of serums, a gold quilted pouch and body care. Nothing else moves, so the read on aspiration against assortment is clean.

Objective fit

Lead Gen. The call to action is Sign Up and the conversion event is email and SMS consent, not a purchase. The 30% is the incentive for the opt-in rather than the thing being bought, and the actual revenue moment is deferred to the send that follows when the sale opens.

The short answer

Fenty Beauty ran this lead gen creative to the landing page it clicked through to, both captured August 2026. The only two ads in the account that are not selling a SKU never leave Meta at all: the button says Sign Up and the click opens an in-platform lead form. Read as a pair, the handoff rates partial.

  • Where the handoff lands: The ad makes two concrete promises, SHOP THE FENTY FAM SALE FIRST and SIGN UP + GET 30% OFF SITEWIDE. The homepage carries neither.
  • What to fix: Check the lead sync into the email and SMS platform before scaling spend on this.

How this was evidenced

Evidence
Destination inferred The ad was captured, but the destination recorded is the brand's homepage rather than a click that was followed. The read is of that page, not of a confirmed click-through.

Variants of the same system (1)

The second Sign Up creative from the same 17 August 2026 flight. Same headline block, same caption, same in-platform lead form, product spread in place of the model. Observed 2026-08-19.

What to fix

Check the lead sync into the email and SMS platform before scaling spend on this. Leads sit inside Meta until an integration pulls them out, and a subscriber promised early access who gets the welcome flow after the sale has opened is failed by the exact promise that recruited them. Watch the qualification too: a prefilled form completes in two taps, so volume climbs while intent falls and cost per subscriber flatters right up to the send.
