Eskiin ad teardown: Comment mining

Treats the comment section as the research input and ships the answer as the next ad.

“Answers the objection that keeps appearing under the last ad.”

Ad creative not captured

No ad creative could be paired with this page. All 26 Eskiin ads captured for this entry are UGC hooks, guarantee and stat callouts and a stunt narrative, and none carries a comment or reply element or the objection-and-answer structure this entry describes. The read below is of the landing page on its own.

The read

Cited by Foreplay as a comment-mining example. The loop is the asset: run creative, read what people push back on, make the rebuttal the next unit. The brand is not guessing at objections, it is being told them for free at scale.

What the ad does

  • The comments are unpaid qualitative research. Objections volunteered under a live ad arrive at a volume and a candour no survey produces, and they come pre-sorted by which ones people cared enough to type out. Shipping the rebuttal as the next unit means the brand is being told what to answer rather than guessing at it.
  • Answering publicly converts a visible liability into visible confidence. An unaddressed objection sits under the ad persuading everybody else not to buy, so the reply works on every future impression rather than only on the person who wrote it. Each round also narrows the remaining objection set, so the creative gets more precise instead of merely more numerous.

Objective fit

Warm consideration. These ads work on people who have seen prior creative and formed a specific doubt.

The short answer

Eskiin ran this conversion campaign to the landing page below, captured August 2026. Treats the comment section as the research input and ships the answer as the next ad. Because the ad creative could not be found in the Ad Library, the entry carries no handoff rating: a rating measures the distance between two artefacts and only one of them is here.

  • What to fix: Staff the loop before adopting the format.

How this was evidenced

Evidence

What to fix

Staff the loop before adopting the format. Reading comments daily and shipping a rebuttal within the week is the whole mechanic, and brands that copy the look without the cadence end up answering objections raised months ago, which reads as being out of touch rather than responsive. Assign the reading to a named person with production access, or run something else instead.
