Same script, two genuinely different visual treatments, so the algorithm reads them as separate variations.

“Two visually distinct cuts of the same concept, built to be scored separately.”

The read

Savannah Sanchez uses Loop as the worked example of what changed under Andromeda. One cut runs multi-style split-screen, the other stays in a single style. The script is shared. The point is that Meta now recognises ads visually, so two ads with identical framing and different text overlays are scored as one.

Why it works

  • Visual difference is the unit of variation now. Text-swap iteration used to register as a new ad. It no longer does, which invalidates most of the volume playbooks written before 2026.
  • Shared script, divergent treatment. The expensive part, the argument, is reused. The cheap part, the framing, is what varies.
  • It reduces waste rather than adding spend. The gain comes from ads being scored properly, not from producing more of them.

Objective fit

Conversion. The structural work is in delivery rather than persuasion, which is why the same script can carry both cuts.

Where it breaks

This is a production-system change, not a creative idea. Copying the split-screen look without changing how you generate variants gets you nothing.
