Bedgear ad teardown: Bogo 50% off pillows
A Labor Day offer static built on two Night Ice pillows lands on a collection that leads with a quiz instead of the sale.
“BOGO 50% OFF PILLOWS”

Handoff: Partial
The ad stacks a night ice 2.0 on a night ice 3.0 against near black blue and prints SALE, LABOR DAY and BOGO 50% OFF PILLOWS. The page does carry that offer, in a red bar reading Labor Day Sale: BUY ONE, GET ONE 50% OFF PERFORMANCE PILLOWS. Two things sit above it: a blue bar selling UP TO $500 OFF MATTRESSES, and a hero that ignores the sale entirely to run THE ONLY PILLOW PERSONALLY FIT TO YOU with a Find Your PillowID button. The grid then opens on Night Ice Performance Pillow at $299.99, a 1.0, not either of the numbered pillows the creative was built around.
The read
The creative does one job: name the holiday, name the discount, show the product. Two pillows on a dark blue gradient, a red SALE lockup and a single BOGO line, with nothing to read past. It is a seasonal offer static rather than an argument, and it assumes the viewer already knows what a Bedgear pillow is.
What the ad does
- One claim only. The static carries BOGO 50% OFF PILLOWS and nothing else to read, so nothing competes with the discount in feed, and the offer does exist after the click, in a red bar reading Labor Day Sale: BUY ONE, GET ONE 50% OFF PERFORMANCE PILLOWS.
- The product does the specificity. Printing night ice 2.0 and night ice 3.0 on the pillow faces puts the model names in the frame, and then the grid opens on Night Ice Performance Pillow at $299.99, a 1.0, so neither advertised pillow is the first thing on the shelf.
Objective fit
For a purchase ad the creative is sized correctly: one offer, one category, one decision. It needs the page to repeat that offer first rather than third.
Bedgear ran this conversion creative to the landing page it clicked through to, both captured August 2026. A Labor Day offer static built on two Night Ice pillows lands on a collection that leads with a quiz instead of the sale. Read as a pair, the handoff rates partial.

- What to fix: Move the pillow BOGO above the mattress banner and the PillowID quiz for this ad set.

How this was evidenced
- Evidence
- Pair captured The ad and the page it clicked through to were both captured first-hand, and the destination recorded is the page the ad pointed at.
- Ad creative
- Captured August 2026
- Destination
- https://bedgear.com/collections/pillows Captured August 2026.
- Ad Library
- No permalink. This creative was observed running in-feed; Meta does not issue a stable public URL for a non-political ad, and purges it from the library once it stops running. The capture above is the record.
What to fix
Move the pillow BOGO above the mattress banner and the PillowID quiz for this ad set. A click bought on BOGO 50% OFF PILLOWS currently meets UP TO $500 OFF MATTRESSES and a hero reading THE ONLY PILLOW PERSONALLY FIT TO YOU before it reaches the offer, and the grid then leads with a 1.0 rather than either of the numbered pillows the creative was built around.
