Baiia ad teardown: Try On Our First Sample With Me
The ad holds up a pink and yellow floral sample, and the collection it opens leads with four blue Sicilia pieces instead.
“Try On Our First Sample With Me”

Handoff: Break
The creative is one garment in one print: a high waisted bottom in pink with pink flowers, green leaves and a gold yellow lining, held to camera under Try On Our First Sample With Me and a smaller i'm considering. The La Dolce Ora collection opens on four tiles and every one of them is the blue Sicilia print, the Mesh Cecile Kaftan Dress at $259, the Sicilia One-Piece Wrap Top at $189, the Sicilia Reversible Bikini Bottoms at $139 and the Sicilia Reversible Bikini Wrap Top at $179. The pink print in the ad is not among them. Two panels also stack over the fold before any of that is reachable, a country selector reading WELCOME and Please select your region, and a $20 OFF quiz asking What do you look for in a swimsuit?
The read
The creative is well built for the top of a feed. Holding a first sample is a piece of access nobody else can offer, the try on framing makes the viewer wait for a payoff, and shooting it in a plain room in daylight keeps it in the register of a person talking rather than a brand advertising. All of that momentum is spent on a print the destination does not show.
What the ad does
- A first sample is unrepeatable content. Try On Our First Sample With Me offers access to an early prototype, which is a story only the brand holds, and naming the reveal up front turns the rest of the clip into a promise being kept rather than a product being shown.
- The garment sets the expectation and the page changes it. One high waisted bottom in pink with green leaves fills the frame, so the destination is judged against that print. La Dolce Ora opens on four blue Sicilia tiles, from the Mesh Cecile Kaftan Dress at $259 down to the Sicilia Reversible Bikini Bottoms at $139, and the pink is not among them.
Objective fit
A purchase off a print launch, where the creative is selling one specific style rather than the collection it sits in.
Baiia ran this conversion creative to the landing page it clicked through to, both captured August 2026. The ad holds up a pink and yellow floral sample, and the collection it opens leads with four blue Sicilia pieces instead. Read as a pair, the handoff rates break.

- Where the handoff lands: The creative is one garment in one print: a high waisted bottom in pink with pink flowers, green leaves and a gold yellow lining, held to camera under Try On Our First Sample With Me and a smaller i'm considering.
- What to fix: Point the ad at the print it shows. If the collection has to be the destination, sort the pink sample into the first row, because La Dolce Ora currently opens on four blue Sicilia tiles instead.

How this was evidenced
- Evidence
- Pair captured The ad and the page it clicked through to were both captured first-hand, and the destination recorded is the page the ad pointed at.
- Ad creative
- Captured August 2026
- Destination
- https://baiia.com.au/collections/la-dolce-ora Captured August 2026.
- Ad Library
- No permalink. This creative was observed running in-feed; Meta does not issue a stable public URL for a non-political ad, and purges it from the library once it stops running. The capture above is the record.
What to fix
Point the ad at the print it shows. If the collection has to be the destination, sort the pink sample into the first row, because La Dolce Ora currently opens on four blue Sicilia tiles instead. Hold the WELCOME region selector and the $20 OFF quiz until the visitor has seen a garment: two panels and four unrelated products is a long way to travel to reach the one item the clip was built on.
